Rann of Kutch

There is a saying, ‘if you have not visited Rann of Kutch, you have not visited anything in Gujarat.’ Rann of Kutch is a symphony of salt and sand between the boundless Thar desert and the Arabian sea. A moonlight camel safari is one of the musts to do things.

Somnath Temple

For temple lovers, the Somnath temple is a sheer delight. It is the first and most sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. It is on the shores of the Arabian Sea. As per legends, it is a place where Lord Krishna ended his Leela and started for heavenly abode. Other temple to visit when in Gujarat includes the iconic Sun Temple at Modhera. It is the temple dedicated to the solar deity and is almost 1000 years old. 

Marine National Park

The best time to visit Marine National Park is between November and March. It is India’s first marine national park and wildlife sanctuary. It is perhaps the only place in India where you can see coral reefs without diving in the water. 
Other than this, the Gir Forest National Park and Blackbuck National Park in Velavadar near Bharuch should also be on your itinerary.
